What is biblical Friendship?

Number one Friendship is a covenant relationship a commitment. Like the song says "Friends are friends forever if the Lord is the Lord of them." Read 1 Cor 13; and Gal 5:22 that is the embodiment of true friendship. A true friend has a listening ear something I have to work on, a true friend has a sense when things are wrong and learns how to build up in love. A true friend will never ever leave you no matter what happens. A true friend always tries to find good in any bad situation and use it for the best of all involved.

A true friend is Jesus we must follow His example to the best of our abilities not condemning ourselves when we fall short but accepting that all humans err and must turn back to God and the right path to bring deliverance, hope, and salvation to a dying world. A true friend will be willing to die for you if it is Gods will and timing, John 15:13. That is true chivalry not just and outer facade but an inner devotion of trust, responsibility, commitment, and devotion.

A true friend can only be a friend because Jesus is his or her friend and the true friend can not do anything else or he will grieve away the spirit of God and must rectify matters before they get worse because all things affect the true friend even when he or she has done no wrong and His or her friend to it wrong. He or she can not willingly come to God without guilt of wrong doing and must repent and in love because of the friends love and devotion reach out to the friends friend to rectify matters. A true friend can not lie to your even if it means giving a harsh rebuke. Proverbs says a prick from a friend is better than a smile from and enemy. It is better to take the chastening of the Lord through a friend than the blessing of the devil on you anger at your brother which 1 John says if you hate your brother you are a murderer and that you are not saved, if you hate you brother.

True friendship is summed up in the word "Jesus." In His life for us, His death, Resurrection, ascension, intercession, gifts, and soon to come return. We must do all we can to attain the high call and the goal Jesus Christ has set before us we must set the example and lead the way. God our leader, author and perfecter of our faith let us give up our plans and trust Him fully. A true friend only seeks to glorify God and not himself for he knows pride is a sin and will lead to downfall. True Friendship will only listen to Holy Spirits advice and not your anger striking out.

The truest friend of all died on the Cross for you, me and the world. He is our divine example. We must strive to live up to which we can do by the power of the holy ghost. We can do it through Christ. He made all things possible for He is our source.

Are you willing to be a true friend to me, I have already made that commitment and you may not know it or are may not be willing to see it. Now you have an opportunity to see and take advantage of a friendship so pure that in all things that will seek to glorify God and follow Holy Spirits leading only through His strength wisdom and power. We can only do all things through Jesus. If we think we can do it all myself we will fall on our face and stumble. If I feel I have all the answers I am deceived. Jesus now is the time of your visitation let us receive it and make the right choices in life. Life is all about choices now that you have received this e-mail what will you choose to do? The ball is in your hand will you return it or greedily keep it.

True friendship is to pure to be used and easily sees through a fake and will not be used unless Holy Spirit says He wants to teach the user a lesson in True LOVE, Agape. Drink deep of the Lord today for it is a new day and a new hour God is doing something you would never have expected time for change is now will you move with Him or stay were you are.

It only hurts yourself to hold anger, un-forgiveness, bitterness, anger, hate, malice, etc... which are all scriptural sins against people especially when they are not hurt or bothered by it themselves. 1 Cor 13 Love does not take offense true love knows man makes mistakes that any any situation that there is either oppression, blindness, or ignorance that causes a argument, attitude, or dispute and we must unveil which enemy to destroy and conquer, 2 Cor 10:4. Notice in 2 Cor 10:4 that Argument is put as a bigger problem than strongholds of the mind because an argument comes out of the heart, i.e. out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Love sees beyond all this and sees Jesus and can't help but except everyone even when they are wrong. Love takes no offense we still need to do the devotion on 1 Cor 13; and Gal 5:22; and Matt 7. God will do amazing things satan is good at distracting, time to kick his little self outa here only in Jesus name of course. True friends give and expect nothing in return.

I may not be all that a true friend is called to be but I have committed to Christ to follow His example in all that I do whether it be in my private or public life and the glory of the Lord shine through me some day. What will you do? I know that all who know me will know I am human and mess up. We all do! A true friend will allow us to mess up and forgive us and bring restitution whether one repents publicly to his or her face or not.

I am sorry for any wrong I may have done, any sins or misunderstandings. I am your friend whether you realize it or not. You do not have to accept my friendship for me to be your friend. True friendship is not based upon whether it is excepted or not. True friendship is a commitment no matter the cost or circumstances. Jesus excepted rejection by His own people on the cross. Can you pick up your cross and accept rejection even when you pour your heart out to a person and they turn there back on you and prostitute your trust. As a true friend I commit to be your friend whether or not we see eye to eye whether or not we see each other face to face.

Friends are friends forever if the Lords the Lord of them. May God bless you and lead you in all you do and may He overwhelm you with His riches and glory, shine Jesus shine in you precious name we pray, Maranatha Lord Jesus.

Simple Friends and Real Friends

**A simple friend can stand by you when you are right, but a real friend will stand by you even when you are wrong.

**A real friend says, "You've been whining about the same thing for 14 years. Get off your duff and do something about it."
**A simple friend has never seen you cry. A real friend has shoulders soggy from your tears.
**A simple friend doesn't know your parents' first names. A real friend has their phone numbers in his address book.
**A simple friend brings a bag of chips to your party. A real friend comes early to help you cook and stays late to help you clean.
**A simple friend hates it when you call after he has gone to bed.
**A real friend asks you why you took so long to call.
**A simple friend seeks to talk with you about your problems. A real friend seeks to help you with your problems.
**A simple friend wonders about your romantic history. A real friend could blackmail you with it.
**A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest. Real friend opens your refrigerator and helps himself/herself.
**A simple friend thinks the friendship is over when you have an argument.
**A real friend knows that it's not a friendship until after you've had a fight.
**A simple friend expects you to always be there for them. A real friend expects to always be there for you!
** Which kinda friend are you simple or real? What kinda friend do you want to be? And what will it take for you to get there?
**Know get of your duff and do something with the friendships you have.
**You never know how good a thing you could of had until you don't have it.
