THE FULL GOSPEL"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whomsoever believeth in him shall not perish... To as many as received him he gave the right to become children of God. To as many as believed in his name... unless one is born again you shall by no means inherit the Kingdom of God... it is a gift of God not of yourselves lest man should boast... For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor... abstain from every form of evil... no temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it... Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him... therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed... But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man's offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification... But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life... Pursue Holiness... For as a young man marries a virgin, So shall your sons marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So shall your God rejoice over you... Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will assuredly plant them in this land, with all My heart and with all My soul." (John 3:16; 1:12; 3:3; Eph 2:9; Romans 6:23; 3:23; 1 John 1:8; James 4:14; Matthew 24:36; 25:13; Hebrews 9:22; 4:14-16; 7:26-28; Luke 13:3,5; Acts 2:38; 3:19; 26:30; Matthew 3:8; 7:20; Galatians 5:16-23; Matthew 12:33; Joshua 24:15; John 14:6; Isaiah 44:6; Matthew 16:13-18; 2 Corinthians 6:2; Romans 10:9; 1 John 1:9; Eph 2:8; Romans 6:23; John 5:14; James 2; 1 Peter 2:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4; 5:22; 1 Corinthians 10:13; James 1:12; John 8:36; Romans 5:15-16; 6:22; Hebrews 12:14; Isaiah 62:5; Jeremiah 32:41) 16 essentials to understanding biblical salvation #1 If you are saved you are called to A ministry not necessarily a 5 fold equipping ministry but an actual ministry non the less not necessarily visible but always as an intercessor, giving and in witnessing Eph 4:11-13; 1 Peter 2:9. #2 Matthew 22:14 In context is talking about salvation not a call to ministry per se....note vs. 2, 9, 13 etcetera.... #3 Romans 5:8-9 refers to the fact that when we repent and accept Jesus we are freely justified by the blood of Jesus and that we shall be saved not that we are in context it says "shall be saved." Bear with me. You have not heard my full point yet and could take that last sentence wrong unless you read on and read all the scriptures in context that I am using. #4 Matthew 10:22 "He that endures to the end shall be saved." Salvation is not what you do at the altar it is how you live you life and how your living when Jesus returns at an hour we do not expect. We can expect the unexpected. Again the text says "shall be saved." #5 lifestyle not altars should be the focus of our preaching and readiness for HIS return not readiness for our pleasures or satisfaction. #6 Hebrews 9:28 Salvation is finalized when Jesus returns to take us to heaven with Him or we die, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Hebrews 9:27 not when we go to the altar, Matthew 3:8; Acts 26:20. The altar is the beginning not the end. #7 Justification is what Jesus does for us upon sincere repentance. We are justified freely by His blood. Sanctification is what we do for Jesus sake by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are to set ourselves apart living a holy life, by the grace of God walking in His forgiveness and mercy. #8 Salvation is not exactly what we preach in our churches even us Pentecostals still preach once saved always saved some what however on the other side of the coin we do not preach Jesus keeping and sustaining power from and over sin because we do not want to give up the pleasures of sin ourselves. 2 Corinthians 2:15; Romans 5:9-10; Hebrews 10:39; Ephesians 2:8-10; 2 Thessalonians 2:10; Acts 15:11; Hebrews 10:10; Romans 10:9-13; 1 Peter 3:21 (1 peter 3:21 is not talking of a physical washing but the washing of the conscious by the spirit of Jesus Acts 2:38-39; 1 John 1:9). 1 Peter 4:18; James 1:21; 2:14; 4:12; 5:15; 1 Timothy 1:15; 4:16; Hebrews 7:25; Colossians 1:23; 2 Thessalonians 1:11; Hebrews 11:38 #9 If you are saved you will bear fruit if you do not bear fruit you have not been fully converted to God yet, not works but love toward others , praying for the sick, helping the needy and witnessing to the lost. Matthew 3:8; 7:15-20; Acts 2:38-39; Galatians 5:16-23; Galatians 2:21; 1 Corinthians 15:1-2; Colossians 2:6-8; Hebrews 5:2; 4:15; 12:8; 13:5; 1 Peter 1:7-9 #10 We show we are saved by loving God and loving people Mark 12:28-32; James 1-2; Isaiah 58; 61. We establish the law of God which no man can fulfill because of our sinful nature by faith and by walking in the spirit of God, (Romans 3:27,31; Galatians 5:16-23). #11 1 John 3:20; 1:9 If we confess our sins God cleanses us and redeems us we are freely justified and need to take our flesh in subjection and must possess our bodies in sanctification and honor. #12 Ephesians 2:8-10, Galatians 2:17-28; Acts 2:38-39; 1 John 1:9; Romans 3:19-27; Galatians 2:16; Galatians 4:9; Salvation is a free gift, sin aborts the free gift, repentance restores the gift It is not of works and God will forgive our every sin every time we come to Him. Gods mercy endures forever. #13 Temptation is not sin. every man is tempted by his own desire and by the devil, it's what you do with temptation that makes it sin or victory. #14 We do not have to give in to temptation for Jesus has made a way of escape by totally defeating the devil. We have total victory according to the word of God which all the promises of God are yeah and amen through the blood of Jesus in Jesus name by the anointing of Holy Spirits' presence according to our obedience to His word.. Our God is bigger than the devil and sin does not have to overwhelm the children of God. He who overcomes will be given the crown of life. I want to be an over-comer how about you? #15 No one can pluck us from Gods hands not even ourselves however If we do not bear fruit God will cut us out. If you abide in Him he will prune you so that you bear much fruit, (John 15:1-8). I would much rather be pruned to bear much fruit than to be one of the five virgins locked out because I wasn't right and ready. #16 Broad is the road that leads to death, narrow is the path that leads to eternal life many are called few are chosen. Those he pre-knew he predestined to do good works. God is willing that none should perish but that all would come to repentance however the choice of which path you take is up to you. God knows what you will do, however in His love He waits and let you make your own choices. |
