The Tabernacle Prayer Pattern

The Old Testament Tabernacle – Symbolic of the believers body/temple and our relationship with the Trinity

The Outer Courts – is symbolic of flesh and the work of atonement

Ψ      Outer Gate – Enter through praise & thanksgiving

Ψ      Inner Courts/Gentile Court – praise and prayer

Ψ      The Golden Altar – Repentance and regeneration, death to flesh and new life in the spirit. Jesus died once of all times. Gods’ grace, His unmerited favor

Ψ      The Bronze Laver – Clean hands and a pure heart, renewal and refreshing. We must deal with our actions and attitudes. God always looks into the heart

Holy Place – is symbolic of the soul and the work of the Holy Spirit

Ψ      The Table of the showbread – Fresh revelation of Gods glory and fresh encounter with the spirit of God

Ψ      The incense altar – Worship and Intercession, continuous harp and bowl ministry stirring the warrior heart of God to fight for us in His zeal – Isa 42:12-17

Ψ      The lamp stand – Symbolic of revival, the Holy Spirit, anointing for service and completion

Holy of Holies – is symbolic of intimacy with the Father, the ravished heart of God, friendship with God

Ψ      The Ark of the Covenant – the solution to rebellion

*        Made of Beaten Gold – symbolizing refinement

*        Almond Blossom – fruits of the spirit

*        Container of manna - miraculous provision

*        The Ten Commandments – sanctification

Ψ      The Mercy Seat – Gods Mercy is revealed

Ψ      Two Cherubim –This is what happens when we behold the transcendent beauty of the Lords' holiness, Isaiah 6:1-8

*        Death to flesh – “in the year Uziah died

*        Worship and Revelation of God – "I saw the Lord… the train of His robe filled the temple… one cried to the other ‘Holy, Holy, Holy is the LORD of Hosts; the whole earth is full of His Glory

*        Conviction of sin –"Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips."

*       Repentance and Regeneration – "having in his hand a live coal… ‘Behold, this has touched your lips; your iniquity is taken away, and you sin purged.’"

*       Calling and Commission –"Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying ‘Whom shall I send and whom shall go for Us.’ Then I said ‘Here I am! Send me."
