Real AnswersAre you spiritually dry? Is there something you desire? Is there something you need? Are you searching for something real? Is there something you desire? Is their emptiness in your soul? Is there something you are seeking but you can not find? Are you searching for spiritual things? Have you wondered if there is really a God? Jesus is the One and Only answer to everything!!! He is the One and Only answer to all your problems and needs. He is the only one who can fill the void in your heart. Sin only leaves temporary pleasures and then pain!!! How can I say this and know this to be fact and why? What makes Christians think Jesus is the only way? What is makes Jesus the Christ, the Messiah, and God manifest in the flesh? What makes Christianity the only way to heaven? Jesus said He was "The Way, The Truth, and The Life, none can come unto the father except through me." The Church is the Body of Christ and is to be Christ to the world, Ephesians 1:22-23. To many who have or never will step foot into a church a Christian is the only bible or representation of Christ they will ever see or hear. They read our lives. Are All Religions Okay? What makes Christianity different than all these other religions? Let us look at why Christianity is unique in it claims. Buddha never claimed to be God. Moses never claimed to be Yahweh. Mohammed never claimed to be Allah. Charles Russel never proclaimed to be Jehovah. Joseph Smith never claimed to be Elohim. Buddha simply said "I am a teacher in search of truth." Jesus said 'I AM The Way, The Truth, and The Life no one can come unto the father except through me.' (John 1:12; 3:16; 14:6; 15:26; 20:28; Acts 2:38-39; Galatians 2:17-18; Ephesians 2:8-10; James 2:14-26; 1 John 3:24-4). Confucius said, "I never claim to be holy." Jesus said "Who convicts me of sin?" (John 8:46). Mohammed said, "Unless God throws His cloak of mercy over me, I have no hope." Jesus said, "Unless you believe I AM, you will die in your sins." (John 8:24,l2,28,58/Exodus 3:14; Psalms 136:1-3; Romans 10:13). Buddha said "I do not claim to be but there is one who comes after me who will be sinless." Hebrews 4:14-16 Jesus "For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are and yet did not sin." Muslims and many other new age religions believe Jesus just another prophet. However Jesus asked His disciples 'Who do people say the Son of Man is?' They replied, 'Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.' 'But what about you?' he asked. 'Who do you say I am?' Simon Peter answered, 'You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.' Jesus replied, 'Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.'" (Matthew 16:13-19; Mark 9:27-30; Luke 9:18-20). All of these men claimed revelation of God however they never claimed to be God. They only claimed to know something or something’s about God. This is general revelation, which does not have the ability to save. It however can show you your need of a savior. (Romans 1:20; Hebrews 1:14; Joel 2:28; John 16:8-11; Romans 10:14,17). Yet Jesus Christ claimed to be the true and living God, the savior of the world! (Proverbs 16:4/Colossians 1:16; Isaiah 8:13-15/ 1 Peter 2:8; Isaiah 40:28/John 1:3/1 Corinthians 8:6; Isaiah 40:3/Matthew 3:1-3; Daniel 2:47/Deuteronomy 10:17/Revelation 17:14; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; Jeremiah 23:5-6; John 1:1,12,18; 10:30-33,38; 14:6-9; 20:28-29; Acts 20:28; Romans 9:5; 1 Corinthians 1:24; Colossians 1:15-17; 2:6-11; 2 Thessalonians 1:12; Titus 2:13; Hebrews 1:1-3,6,8,10; 2 Peter 1:1; 1 John 5:20; Revelation 1:7-8/Zechariah 12:7,10; ). This is special or specific revelation of Jesus atonement for the entirety of the world’s sins. Which when this is acted upon has the ability to save only by Gods grace activating mercy to wash your conscious and give you the power of the Holy Ghost over sin and our obedient walk with Christ.Buddha said that his ideas were only ideas or concepts and that the only thing that was sure was that you die. Hindus say the only way to stop the process of reincarnation is to hop in a specific river at a specific time of year. Hebrews 9:27 says that "It is appointed for people to die once, and after this the judgment." Jesus said that "unless you all likewise repent you shall all perish in your sins." (Luke 13:5). Daniel 12:2 says "And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt." Luke 12:5 KJV "But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him." Jesus also said, "I am the resurrection and the life, he who believes in me, though he may die he will live, and he who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do YOU believe this?" For as many as call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Acts 2:38-39; Romans 1:17; 10:9-13). If you want to go to heaven and have the spirit bear witness with your spirit that you are going to heaven you must turn from your sins, yourself, turn to God, believe the Jesus was manifest in the flesh, that He died for your sins, confess Him publicly in word and in baptism, and live for and not return to your prior sinful life. If you ask Christ to come into your heart you are a new creation all things are passed away. In your new life you must be mentored and you must acquire, establish and maintain a continual, open, and loving relationship with Jesus Christ, through bible study, reading Jesus personal love letter to you and intimate personal communication with Jesus through prayer, simple communication and listening to God in reverence, ease, peace and in friendship. (Matthew 28:18-20; John 15:14; Psalms 119:9,11; Ephesians 6:18; Romans 8:14). There is only one road to life; not all religions or religious practices are approved by God (Matt 7:13; John 4:23,24; Eph 4:4,5). True Christian worship does not emphasize ritual or outward show/facade but genuine love for God, shown by obedience to His commandments, by love for ones fellowman this does not include conforming to the requirements of the Mosaic Law in order to gain salvation; doing so would be a rejection of Christ, who fulfilled the law, salvation is through trust Jesus name alone and enduring to the end through and fleeing from the trials and temptations of life and sin, overcoming by the Blood of Jesus, the words of our testimonies, and being willing to die for the one who died for us. (Gal 5:4; Rom 10:4; Col 2:13-17; Matt 15:8,9; 1 John 5:3; 3:10-18; 4:21; John 13:34,35). People of all nations, races, and language groups are accepted and approved by God and loved by God and can come to God (Acts 10:34,35; Gal 3:28; Rev 7:9-17). There is no special clergy-laity distinction among true Christians were are all priests, the priesthood of every believer. (Matt 20:25-27; 23:8-12; 2 Tim 3:16; 1 Pet 2:5,9; 2 Pet 1:19-21; Rev 1:5). All who follow Jesus’ example and obey His commandments and bear witness to others about His death, life and resurrection. (Luke 4:43; 8:1; Matt 24:14) Spritistic practices must be shunned. (Gal 5:19-21; Duet 18:10-12; Rev 21:8). |
