Carbon Dating has been proven to be vary unreliable. Carbon dating as applied to any one element can vary from a 1,000 to 1,000,000,000 year variance. Carbon Dating has said that the earth is all the way from 6,000,000,000 to some where under 20,000 years old. At this point the young earth date might conflict somewhat with your biblical theology on creation unless you take the word of God literally and study scripture using systematic, contextual, and historical biblical analysis in accordance with proper hermeneutics, grammar, and exegesis. Many people hold that creation is only 6,000 years old. You can get this calculation from taking the time span from Adam to Jesus Christ birth is 4,004 years and approximately 2,002 to 2,005 years from Jesus to the present time being that the Gregorian calendar we use is off 4 - 7 years back from zero CE. This temporal time frame has been proven mathematically that based upon the generations from Adam to Jesus, by Archbishop Usher who lived from 1580 to 1656. In this I will not argue this is factual, scriptural and historical occurrence geologically from the end of the ice age up to modern times, Genesis 5: Mark 3:23-38; Matthew 1:1-18. There is plenty of scriptural proof of the existence of pre-Adamic creation, life, destruction and activity on this planet. (Genesis 1:1; 1:2; 1:3; 1:5/1:8/1:13/1:19/1:23/1:31; 1:3-5/1:14-16; 1:27; 2:5-7; 5:1; 8:13,22; 9:3; Deuteronomy 14:22; Job 9:5-10; 14:1; 26:7-14; 38:4-7; 40:15-41:35; Psalms 104:69; Proverbs 8:22-31; Isaiah 14:12-19; 24:1-4; 45:18; Ezekiel 28:12-19,12; Jeremiah 4:23-26; Matthew 12:43-45; Luke 10:18; 2 Peter 3:3-8; Jude 20) There is evidence that there were large animals, dinosaurs that have actually existed on this world before man or contemporary animals ever existed upon this planet. There are definite fossil records of dinosaurs and other animals living before there was ever any Homo Sapiens life forms in existence upon this fleshly abode we call earth. However unreliable carbon dating may be it does show us a distinct difference in age from dinosaur to man. In the layers of sediment human skeletons are never found at the same level as dinosaur bones mans bones are always higher up in the layers of sediment and rocks denoting that man came into existence latter than dinosaurs. This distinguishes a definite difference in age and in same temporal time frame of existence. It shows us that man has not co-existed with dinosaurs in the same geological era. There has been one finding that many want to use to challenge this historical fact is that they found a human foot print inside a dinosaurs foot print. That could simply be explained as an actual dinosaur foot print in the ground which at some point became uncovered and was moistened by dew or rain and a man came along and stepped on it leaving an actual human foot print. Dirt covered over this footprint and fossilized and was latter found by scientist and is used to try to connect people with dinosaurs. However this is not enough empirical data to conclude that man and dinosaur ever existed together. It is scientifically and geologically proven that there was some instantaneous global catastrophe that caused the destruction of the surface of the earth and all existent life, which ended up frozen. There are multiple graveyards of bones of never seen land creatures, flying creatures, and sea creatures of varying shapes and sizes that are so numerous and consistent that they can not be denied they all died by some unfathomable supernatural disaster. Many believe this catastrophe to be a giant meteor that hit the earth and caused the sedimentary layer to cover the earth bringing about a total block out of the suns light which caused all life to die of starvation or by freezing from the lack of light. However no meteor of the size to cause this kind of effect has been found as of yet. This is a possibility however it may not be a valid probability according to the gathered empirical data yet there is evidence of an instantaneous geological shift instantly followed by the entire global ice freeze which stayed frozen for an extended period of time. There is evidence that has been found that would contradict the hypothesis that there was a large meteor that struck the earth. There has been Wooly Mammoths and Saber Toothed tigers found in herd formations frozen in the polar ice caps and other parts of the world with food still in there mouths. If there were no light for days the Wooly Mammoths and other frozen beasts would have not been able to find food in the dark and would have died in a state of starvation. Yet they had food in their mouth, which proves, and instantaneous death and they are frozen which would say something happened instantly to freeze the entire earth. There has been found in rocks fossils of fish in a state of turmoil fossilized as if surprised by an instantaneous singular act of destruction. It is not as though it were a meteor that caused a slow painful death. However the frozen Glacial Wooly Mammoths, Saber Tooth Tigers and Fish Fossils apparently never knew what hit them. The Wooly Mammoths and Saber Tooth Tigers went from eating plants to being frozen without any actions of defense, fight, flight or any other possible response to some form of impending doom. According to geological surveys sedimentary studies, tree rings, and fossil records this global ice age that killed off the entire population of dinosaurs. The entire pre-Adamic race and all life was completely abolished nothing was capable of survived through this act of judgment. Following this complete, total and swift act of judgment the whole earth froze and became top and bottom heavy at the polar ice caps were it got the coldest and the most ice formulated. During this time the ice melted around the equator causing the polar caps to become heavier than the rest of the earth crust which in turn caused the earth. This caused mountains and continents to rise up and formed many of the modern continents and mountains that we know and see in modern geological society. There is also sedimentary, fossil, and historical evidence of a later total global flood that destroyed all animal life on the earth except for a select few. The liberal unbelieving media a leftist will try to explain away the supernatural God at all cost denying even the fundamentals of science in an attempt to keep a real loving and just God from having any influence upon their lives. There is global evidence that there was originally one single continent named by some, Pangea. There is evidence also that suggests that this original continent became many continents due to seismic events, floods, and the ice age which caused continental shifts that changed the surface of the earth into a multi-continental planet. This single continent eventually became multiple continents do to the adverse conditions brought upon this world due to the sins that brought about Gods judgment and ensuing wrath which decimated the earth and all that was in it twice. Completely destroying it the first time and saving only a select few the second time. Genesis 1:1 describes the initial instantaneous and complete act of God creating the heavens and the earth. The universe was not created until day four according to Genesis 1:14-16. God created a perfect paradise earth during this time God created dinosaur’s way before He created man. According to scriptural in the pre-Adamic past existed real dinosaurs who have left behind real dinosaur bones read Job 40:15-41:35 which is speaking of Behemoth and leviathan. Behemoth has a tail like a cedar tree that sounds like Apatosaurus, or some form of large boned, big tailed herbivore with a description along those same lines of an Apatosaurus. Behemoth can not be an elephant or any other animal alive today unless you know of an animal with the tail the size of a tree trunk. Job 40:15-19 "Behold now, Behemoth, which I made as well as you; He eats grass like an ox. Behold now, his strength in his loins and his power in the muscles of his belly. He bends his tail like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are knit together. His bones are tubes of bronze; His limbs are like bars of iron. He is the first of the ways of God; Let his maker bring near his sword." Behemoth is the first of Gods ways or creations. He is a herbivore for he eats grass. Leviathan is considered by many to be the Locness monster of Job 3:8 "Let those curse it that curse the day, Which are prepared to rouse Leviathan." Job 41:1 "Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook? Or press down his tongue with a cord?" Psalms 74:14 "You crushed the heads of Leviathan; You gave him as food for the creatures of the wilderness." Psalms 104:26 "There the ships move along, And Leviathan, which You have formed to sport in it." Isaiah 27:1 "In that day the LORD will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, With His fierce and great and mighty sword, Even Leviathan the twisted serpent; And He will kill the dragon who lives in the sea." All the geological and pale-ontological evidence proves beyond the slightest scintilla of a doubt that there was a world before Adam and eve. Job is thought to be the oldest book in the Old Testament some believe He was one of the pre-Adamic or pre-Adamite race. God’s initial act of Creation was instantaneous, complete and perfect however God gave His perfect creation a free will, free thought, free emotions, the ability to govern oneself and the responsibility to use this wisely. "And God saw everything that he had made (i.e., including the entire earth, all its contents, and all the heavens as well, Genesis 1: 16; 2:2) and, behold, it was very good" (Genesis 1:3 1). However creation mainly Lucifer a great good angel say his own beauty and his own position and became prideful he sinned in his heart and then he got greedy and wanted what God had and tried to deceive many to follow Him. Using the word pre-Adamic I mean before Adam there were existed beings and creatures that were alive and active. Genesis 1:1 said and God created the heavens and earth. Verse one is a verse of perfection verse 2 however says that the earth was without form and void and darkness was on the face of the deep and yet there is no darkness in God at all. If you read Jeremiah 4:23-36 It says "I looked on the earth, and behold, it was formless and void; And to the heavens, and they had no light. I looked on the mountains, and behold, they were quaking, and all the hills moved to and for. I looked, and behold, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens had fled. I looked, and behold, the fruitful land was a wilderness, and all its cities were pulled down Before the LORD, before His fierce anger." I looked on the earth and beheld the earth was formless and void this directly relates to Genesis 1:2 and Here in Jeremiah we that God there was no man vs.25 Yet there were cities. This passage is talking of Gods judgement upon Israel yet He end up talking about something that happened in the past. Yahweh is declaring that He is going to judge them again like He did back then. In this passage there are cities and yet there is no man. At the time this was written there was man so this must be a reference to a historical occurrence. The passage says there was a quaking, the hills moved to and for. The fruitful land became wilderness and the cities were destroyed this is before Adam was created so this tells me there was civilization before Adam was created. These people were judged for their sinful acts and God destroyed the earth and put them the fallen angels, Jude 1:7. Satan was a priest of God in the tabernacle of God his body was beautiful and He was in charge of 1/3 of heaven as Gabriel had another 1/3 and Michael had another 1/3, Revelation 12:4. (Ezekiel 28:11-19; Isaiah 14:12-14; Luke 10:18). The Archangels are Gods highest order of creation and God split the authority between the three. Lucifer as a worship leader in heaven directed worship to God and gave the glory to God. Lucifer saw himself and that he was beautiful, he became prideful and full of contempt, jealousy and hate and wanted what God had. He was able to deceive those under him into believing him, some of which were the actual pre-Adamic race. Because of Lucifer’s rebellion and inciting 1/3 of heaven to go with him. God cast Him down to the earth. This Pre-Adamic Cataclysm or Casting down of satan and his dark forces caused a devastating global cataclysm, and a supernatural vacuum, destroying all life on Earth this accounts for the vast fossil graveyard of dinosaurs everywhere. (Genesis 6:4; Ezekiel 28:11-19; Isaiah 14:12-14; Luke 10:18; Revelations 9:1-12; Jude 1:6; 2 Peter 2:4). This situation is described in Genesis 1:2; Job 9:5-10; and Jeremiah 4:23-26. "And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep." This cataclysmic event occurred as a direct result of the rebellion of Satan and his angels against their Creator in Heaven, with God then casting them out of Heaven into the spiritual realm around the Earth. When satan was from heaven and this vacuum was created be Lucifer’s choice to separate himself from God this created the hell we know of today. (Isaiah 14:12-15; Ezekiel 28:11-17). God is Yahweh I AM, God is protection and to step out of His presence leaves you unprotected from all the elements out there. So when this happened this willful denial, rejection and attempt to ascend to the throne of God satan was violently cast from heaven by Michael the archangel. This separation then unloosed the imaginations of satan and his minions they manipulated and controlled that which was given them and the more they tried to do it on there own the worse there situation God. This is why the bible says when God did this fire came out of Lucifer’s belly and he became ugly and this is what happened to satan and how hell was created. Fire came out of Him because outside of Gods protection is agony. Without God no life can live and to want to live without God is wickedness. True wickedness was rooted in the, "I will" statements the want to do this your way and not Gods way. Scofields bible says this "The first act (of creation Genesis 1) refers to the dateless past, and gives scope for all the geologic ages . . . The face of the earth bears everywhere the marks of such a catastrophe. They do not want intimations, which connect it with a previous testing, and fall of angels… Relegate fossils to the primitive creation, and no conflict of science with the Genesis cosmogony remains." This cataclysm that left the earth "without form and void," (or "a shapeless chaotic mass" as The Living Bible expresses it), with "darkness on the face of the deep" everywhere, required a worldwide earthquake, volcanic explosion, or meteor strike that would effectively disintegrate the whole surface of the earth. All pre-cataclysm mountains would be blown into the sea and billions of tons of rocks and dust blown into the atmosphere, leaving the earth covered with "the deep" everywhere and "darkness" covering the deep everywhere. Historically this is known as the ice age thought to have been caused by a meteor that hit the earth and caused sediment to cover the sky which caused the world to freeze leaving wooly mammoths with cud in there mouth. If they had been frozen in the flood the cud would have been washed out but and the earth instantly and completely froze. God destroyed the first earth and the earth lay in waste in ruins because of Lucifer’s original sin. This awesome spectacle of destruction and death was not a result of God's "very good" creation however it was initiated by Lucifer’s prideful exalting himself above God in His heart and then He choose to act upon that prideful exaltation and sinned against heaven. God had His angels including Michael and Gabriel, Lucifer’s fellow archangels, leveled the original earth in response to this action and decided to start again. Or it is a possibility that satan and his minions had a temper tantrum and thought they would mess up Gods good creation. That is why in verse two of Genesis it says the spirit of God was hovering over the waters. God was stirring up the waters, which is the beginning of the reconstruction of Gods earth. Nelsons study bible says this about the reconstruction of the earth, "Here it means that God renewed what was in a chaotic state. God changed chaos into cosmos, disorder into order, emptiness into fullness … The two words, without form and void, express one concept—chaos. The earth had been reduced to this state—it was not the way God had first created it." The restoration is not a recreation but a restoration God brings the dead and destroyed things back to life the only now things that God creates at this point are the stars, moon, sun and the human race. Note. The Adamic race maybe similar to but are not the same as the human race. When God started creating things again He washed the slate clean and man was created to live for eternity until sin was in the world through temptation and choosing to give into that temptation. (Romans 5:12; 1 Corinthians 15:21; etc.). Death itself is "the wages of sin" (Romans 6:23). Our future deliverance from sin and death has been purchased by the substitutionary work of Jesus Christ on the cross in 30 CE, who is "the propitiation for our sins and ... also for the sins of the whole world" (John 2:2). In Genesis we see that on day one and God said "Let there be light and there was light." How can this be when God did not actually "create" the stars or the sun until verse 16 on day four. God is light so God said let a word of allowance not a word of creation. God is light and in Him no darkness at all were did darkness come from except from the sin of Lucifer and His being cast down to the earth, God destroyed everything and shut down all His sustaining, life and light giving power to the earth. God sent His Holy Spirit to stir up the waters and then He became the light again then He started restoring things. God said let there be light, let there be water etc... He did not actually create anything after the initial instant act of creation until day four when He created man and then again on day six when he created man however on day five God allowed the animals to have life again. Gods creation in Genesis 1:2 was complete God is perfect and in Him there is no imperfection. His original creations had complete free choice and choose to sin against Him. God judged the sinful creation by total annihilation. Then in six literal days He restored the earth through the Adamic restoration, recreation, or rejuvenation process set forth in Genesis 1:3-2:7. The Hebrew word here in Genesis for day is Yamim, which is used over 700 times in the Old Testament and every time, means a literal day. There is no room in here for "Theistic Evolution," or an "Age day theory." Lucifer had already fallen when he tempted eve. By the time of Adam and Eve, satans rebellion had to have been completed before Adam and Eve were created at some point. It would not make sense for Lucifer to lead a rebellion after man was created unless maybe he used the fact that God attention was on us to create jealousy in his followers. Chemically Homo Sapiens are dust of the earth and zoologically they are animals (they have the breath of life a spirit man and a living soul, i.e. need oxygen like the other animals, Genesis 2:7; compare 1:30). The Adamic man was designed to be in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27; man is made up of three essential parts a spirit (heart), soul (mind, will, and emotions) and flesh (body, carnal nature). However the pre-Adamic race was not created in the image of God. Adam was a willful creation of God to allow man to be free and independent like Himself. God wanted man to choose and obey Him out of there own free will. The curse of sin that lead to death did not "enter the" human race until man lead away by Lucifer or satan, man himself willfully choose to sin and thus all man have inherited sin through the DNA of out physical parents passed down from Adam and eve. This is the sin nature that Jesus came and did away with by the power of His death on the cross. (Romans 5:12; I Corinthians 15:2 1). Because of the great curse pronounced by God on man's because of mans willful rejection of Gods law he lost his rightful dominion over the entire earth (Genesis 3:17-19), as a result of sin which Jesus fully restored by the work of the cross abolishing the work of the devil. Because of the cross we have the mind and spirit of Christ we have yet to receive or new bodies until we get caught up in glory to meet Jesus. Let us take a closer look at the Genesis account of creation looking at verb usage, context and exegesis. Genesis 1:1 says "In a (BE - no definite article here) beginning (RISHAH - eternity past) God (Elohim - Gods existence is understood as a given without question) created (BARAH - out of nothing, when there was nothing. This word Bara is a different word that the word Asah for God) the heavens (SHAMAHIM - plural) and the earth. Vs. 2 the earth had become (TOHU WA BOHU) without form and void and darkness was on the face of the deep." This was caused by the pre-Adamic cataclysm which why dinosaurs and other primitive species, as well as a pre-Adamic race disappeared. This also explains how the earth has existed all the way from 6,000,000 to 20,000 years, as proven by modern geological studies and earth core samples. The earth is still young. Genesis 1:2 "and darkness, (HASHEK = absolutely no light at all) over the face, (HAMAJIM = waters frozen over solid on the surface with waters churning beneath - this is generally know as the ice age) of the deep, (TEHOM = deep waters churning under the sea and the ground)." The absence of light brought by God hiding His face from the fallen dark angels who are know in chains caused the ice age to occur, Jude 1:6. As I explained earlier God casting satan down from heaven created the ice age because God stopped being the light of the world and everything became dark. The casting down of the devil caused an instantaneous raging of the atmospheric water around the earth which God had not separated as of yet. There was one atmosphere of a mixture of oxygen and water it was thicker than Adamic air and thinner that Adamic water. Along disrupting the earth’s atmosphere it created earthquakes, and volcanoes which destroyed everything in this monumentary process God turned away from His creation and everything froze (Job 38:4-7; Isa. 14:12-14; Ezek 20:11-19; 28). In other words, all life was destroyed on the face of the earth. This is not far removed from current theories regarding darkness precipitating the end of all life and the onset of an ice age. "And the Spirit of God was moving, (RAKACH - meaning to incubate) over the (frozen) waters." God warmed the frozen earth. God then created (ASAH - recreated out of preexisting materials, according to the Hebrew language), the earth and all that is in it in six days, and reordered the heavenly bodies as necessary. Gen. 1:24-25: All were created after their kind (MIN - species, or genus). God maintains the form of what He has established God does not allow or use evolution. God created it and it things are as He created them a TV or VCR is not a new creation. It is however a reconfiguring a manipulation of what God has created originally. God maintains the essence of the creature within the creation, which he created. Everything is as God intended it perse. except the sin factor and the adversity caused by the fallen angels and our willful acts of rebellion. The are no "missing links" nor is there any imperical data proving transmutations in any instance and the few skulls found at the beginning of the century that looked like a Neanderthal man were actually found out to be a hoax. They were actually monkey skulls with Plaster Paris put on them and soiled with dirt. Carbon dating showed them to be only 20 to 50 years old. Some of Gods creations are unique, and some bare similarity, but each maintains its own identity. Only species of like kind can be cross-seeded as a donkey and a horse can breed however there byproduct the mule is infertile and can not reproduce God did not intend for any unnatural sexual relations with other species. God did not pronounce creation "finished" until Genesis 2:1. Early Church Fathers Quotes on the literal day theology. St. Basil: "'And there was evening and morning, one day.' Why did he say 'one' and not 'first'?... He said 'one' because he was defining the measure of day and night..., since the twenty-four hours fill up the interval of one day. God made everything together, that is to say, at one time, and in a short time." "'So there was evening and there was morning.' This is to be understood as the duration of one day and one night. Those who do not accept the Scripture in their ordinary, common meaning, say that 'water' is not water but something else; plants and fishes they interpret as they please; the creation of reptiles and wild beasts they explain in their own way, twisting it from the obvious sense as do the interpreters of dreams - who give whatever meaning they choose to the images seen in sleep. As for me, when I hear the word 'grass' I think of grass, and the same with plant, fish, wild beast, domestic animal. I take everything in the literal sense, for 'I am not ashamed of the Gospel.' Reject the foolish ideas of those arrogant philosophers who are not ashamed to put their own souls and dogs' souls on the same level, and who pretended to have once been... bushes, and sea-fish... they show themselves to have less sense than fishes." St. Augustine: "Some hold the same opinion regarding men that they hold regarding the world itself, that they have always been.... And when they are asked, how,... they reply that most, if not all lands, were so desolated at intervals by fire and flood, that men were greatly reduced in numbers, and... thus there was at intervals a new beginning made... But they say what they think, not what they know. They are deceived... by those highly mendacious documents which profess to give the history of many thousand years, though reckoning by the sacred writings, we find that not 6,000 years have yet passed." Theophilus: "The world is not uncreated nor is there spontaneous production of everything, as Pythagoras and the others have babbled; instead the world is created and is providentially governed by the God who made everything. And the whole period of time and the years can be demonstrated to those who wish to learn the truth.... The total number of years from the creation of the world is 5,695." Josephus: "...God commanded that there should be light: and when that was made, he considered the whole mass, and separated the light and the darkness; and the name he gave to one was Night, and the other he called Day; and he made the beginning of light and the time of rest the Evening and the Morning; and this was the first day..." St. Ambrose: "Scripture established a law that twenty-four hours, including both day and night, should be given the name of day only, as if one were to say the length of one day is twenty-four hours in extent... God commanded that the heavens should come into existence, and it was done; He determined that the earth should be created, and it was created... These things were made in a moment." Victorinus of Pettau: "even such is the rapidity of that creation; as is contained in the book of Moses, which he wrote about its creation and which is called Genesis. God produced the entire mass for the adornment of His majesty in six days; on the seventh to which He consecrated and bless it.... In the beginning God made the light, and divided it into the exact measure of twelve houres by day and by night." Origen: "...this world had its beginning at a certain time, and that agreeably to our belief in Scripture, we can calculate the years of its past duration. Thus, even an old-earth professor at a historically Christian college must admit: "In general, the church fathers regarded the days of creation as ordinary days corresponding to our existing sun-measured, solar days."
