Do You Need Healing?
Divine Health is Gods protection and deliverance in and by and through His word. His word is meant to be a shield. When we step outside of that protection we are vulnerable. Satan knows this and attacks us he wants us to believe it is God punishing us. God wants to bless us not harm us Duet 28. Let stays in the vine for protection it will hurt when God prunes things off our lives let us remain faithful to God in the good and the bad. God is love not hate or pain 1 John 4:7-8. Pain is not of God it is separation from God. Old Testament- View of Yahweh Rapha, The LORD that healeth thee - Ex 15:26; Psalms 103:3; 147:3; Isaiah 30:26; 61:1-9. Yahweh meaning: I AM THAT I AM, I AM WHAT I AM, I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE, HE IS, STATE OF BEING Ex 3:14,15. God is our provision He is what we need. He is our healer. Yahweh Shalom He is our Peace. Yahweh Nissi He is our Declaration or Banner i.e. of hope, of healing etc…. OT healing not allowing the same affects of sin to effect the nation of Israel like they were affecting Egypt - Ex 15:26 (actual proper use of the Hebrew word is not "put" but "allow." Yahweh Rapha will not allow the same infirmities to come on Israel if they repent). Healing in OT was in answer too fervent prayer and with the use of medicine/herbs - Isaiah 38:1-5,21,22. In accordance to acts of faith much like Jesus' NT healing teachings- 2 kings 5:1-11; John 9:7 - Commanded to dip seven times in the river. OT healing was a binding up of wounds Psalms 103:3; 147:3; Isaiah 30:26. Anointing with balm used in healing, i.e. the balm of Gilead in Jeramiah 8:22. Also healing in OT was also wrought at the act repentance of sin - Exodus 15:26: 2 Chronicles 7:14. Prophetic view of Messiah the NT healer Davidic King - 2 Samuel 7:11b-16; Isaiah 11.Heavenly Son of Man - Daniel 7:13-14. Given authority, glory, sovereign power, Worshiped before Yahweh, Everlasting dominion, Kingdom never destroyed. Y'shua The Suffering Servant bringing healing and forgiveness - Isaiah 53. Familiar with suffering, Healed by His wounds. OT healing was not wrought by faith in but by works. They had their ceremonial cleansing they had to do to fulfill the law; However, God would sometimes heal by the miraculous in OT times also.
New Testament Jesus the Christ fulfills the requirements for healing. Mark 1:14,15 - Jesus the promised one has come to fulfill OT prophecy Acts 2:29-36. He was Crucified - Isaiah 53 - Healing provided for in the atonement. Luke 4:18-21 fulfills Isaiah 61:1 - Jesus' declares that Isaiah prophesied of Him by the Spirit. Luke 7:18-33 fulfills Isaiah 35:3-6 - Your God will come - Then - Scripture is clear that one is coming. The NT declares that Jesus is God the One and Only who is from the bosom of The Father who is God who was promised to come. Jesus' message was one of healing and deliverance to those in oppression and in bondage Acts 10:38. Jesus brought an event, a foretaste of eternity. Jesus bestowed forgiveness Mark 2:5-11. Jesus didn't promise fellowship He entered into it. Jesus bestowed present righteousness and deliverance from evil. The Presence of Christ heals and delivers Acts 10:30; Matt 28:20 - I am with you always - Why were people healed around Jesus/Y'shua Messiah/Mashach. Hebrews 13:5,8. People healed today because Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us. Matthew 18:20 - For where two or three are gathered in my name, He is there in their midst. Jesus' has all Authority over the enemy. Matthew 10:1 - He who has power has the authority to give it away. Matthew 28:18ff - The concept of discipleship is doing what He commanded - He commanded by word/deed/example Acts 2:4 - The Holy Spirit is the presence of Christ resident in the believer. In NT times Jesus heals all that are oppressed of the devil - Acts 10:38. Jesus is willing to heal all - Mark 1:40-42. God is no respecter of persons - Acts 10:34 - Will you receive? How does one receive? Number one you must want prayer, by stepping out in faith asking for prayer, or stepping out in faith and praying for yourself - James 5:14; Matt 7:7. Number two you need to be prayed for. You must pray for yourself or somebody else needs to pray for you. Finally they must receive - James 5:13-16; 1:6; Hebrews 11: 1-6. NT healing is received by faith. After you receive your healing you must thank God. Thank God during, before He heals you, even if He doesn't heal you, and after He heals you 1 Thes 5:18. Even if you don't receive immediately walk in faith that you are healed Romans 1:17. Receive it and thank God for his love. God is good when things seem good and He is good when things are bad, God is the God unchanging. God sometimes works threw natural means to heal. By the way God created what we call the natural and the supernatural they are bot natural to Him. Don't limit God. You are a prophet, priest, and king. As a prophet you are to listen to GOD for his specific know word from GOD for them. As a priest you are called to stand in the gap and intercede for them, to live a life of lifestyle evangelism, to be a missionary every were you live. Intercede in your prayers and threw you witness. For those who never enter a church or read a bible you are the only Jesus or bible they will ever know. Be accountable. As a king you are called to be an overseer, a shepherd, and most importantly a discipler/teacher. Human hindrances to healing Lack of faith, Sin, doubt, double mindedness. Our innate natural desires to be anti-supernatural - angels, demons, manna, fire from heaven - sometimes we can believe them but not always for ourselves. There is NO divine wisdom revealed that says God will not heal through us or in our midst. We don't believe because our humanism/gnosticism. We reason and try to rationalize the deep things of God. God is either real or not real. It is time to stop limiting God. Let God out of the box you put Him in and allow Him to heal you.
